Automobiles in Germany's City Found Marked with Swastikas in Human Blood, Law Enforcement Confirm

Approximately fifty cars have been smeared with what seems to be blood from a person in the Germany's town of Hanau near Frankfurt, according to police.

Cars, exterior walls and postal boxes were defaced, in some cases with Nazi symbols, they announced in a release.

Law enforcement report they were alerted late on Wednesday, when a man noticed that a automobile in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been marked with a red-colored fluid.

The fluid had been drawn in the form of a banned symbol, they added.

Officers then located many other vandalized cars and house walls in the surrounding area.

These symbols are illegal in Germany under regulations prohibiting the public exhibition of symbols from the Nazi era.

Police report preliminary tests indicate the fluid was likely human bodily fluid.

"At present there remains no indication as to where it came from; investigators are currently not aware of any physical harm in connection with the incident," they stated.

Municipal representatives stated they were working "to unravel the case" and have asked to the public for tips.

A senior political figure commented the vandalism made him speechless and needed to be resolved rapidly.

"This incident strikes at the center of Hanau and reawakens the wounds of the extremist violent incident in 2020," he stated on a platform, mentioning the murder of nine victims by a shooter focusing on people of immigrant origin in February 2020.
